Bravo announced Thursday that the fiery brand new Real Housewives series will kick off Feb. 22 with six fierce, influential Miami women ready to heat things up.

Lea Black is really a Texas-born philanthropist who's married to Roy Black, one of the top criminal defense attorneys in the country. The two have a 9-year-old son together. Politics are super essential to this well-respected gal, who was an ardent supporter of President Barack Obama throughout the 2008 presidential campaign and supports several local Florida politicians.

Marysol Patton is really a Miami native who runs a extremely effective public relations firm. This divorcée puts most of her time and energy into her work, which includes throwing exclusive parties for her A-list clients. Besides these movers and shakers about town, there's also talk of a drag queen joining the cast at some point this season. PopEater reports that blonde bombshell Elaine Lancaster, who's a close friend of Dennis Rodman and whose male name is James Davis, will be part of the show's wider ensemble. One TV executive allegedly said having "this kind of character" on "mainstream TV with honesty and dignity will assist everybody accept that the America we all live in is full of stunning and talented individuals that come in numerous different types." Needless to say, it'll also make for 1 heck of an entertaining show.
